Ongoing care for your shop or website

Updates, backups, monitoring and technical support. We look after day-to-day operation, with care matched to your system and pace of change.

Planning ongoing website maintenance

What does maintenance cover?

Updates and security

System, theme and extension updates within the agreed version, plus security fixes. Major version upgrades and migrations require a separate scope.

Backups and availability

Regular file and data backups, basic availability monitoring and checks of key shop functions. Backup frequency and method are agreed for each system.

Fixes and configuration

Minor bug fixes, settings changes and checks of forms, orders and agreed workflows.

Integrations and scheduled tasks

Checks of payments, delivery and marketing integrations. The agreed scope can also cover generation of files, points and reports.

Three levels of care

Choose a starting point. Monthly hours, priority, response time and contract duration are agreed in your proposal.

Clear working arrangements

  • The plan covers agreed work as well as support readiness, maintenance and monitoring.
  • Monthly hours are set out in the proposal. Unused hours do not roll over.
  • Work beyond the allowance proceeds only after agreeing the additional scope and billing.
  • Reports are prepared when needed, such as after an incident, significant change or complex issue.
  • Requests and technical support are handled by email. Start through the contact form.

Response time and resolution time

Response time means starting to handle a request during agreed business hours. It does not guarantee completion of the repair within that time.

Resolution may depend on the host, payment provider, courier, inventory system, ERP or an external API.

Larger projects are quoted separately

Major shop or design rebuilds, data migrations, complex features, custom extensions, advanced integrations, architecture changes and substantial optimisation require a separate quote. Scope and delivery are agreed before work begins.

SEO TECH: a separate service

Technical foundations for visibility: indexing checks, link integrity and fixes for technical issues that prevent search engines from accessing content.

Where needed, scope can include Google Shopping or Pixel configuration fixes and troubleshooting unstable operation. SEO TECH is scoped separately from maintenance.
