Questions and Answers

  • Which hosting do you recommend for OpenCart?

We deploy most client stores on Krystal using the MIARKI voucher. Their UK-based platform offers LiteSpeed, daily backups, SSH access, and responsive support. We avoid bargain hosts that limit PHP modules or block outgoing connections because they slow down API integrations and payments.

  • Can I test the module/plugin on a different domain than the one in the order?

Yes. To test the module, just contact us and ask for a demo version. Using the module on a different domain than the one in the order is a violation of the license and the law. It does not matter if someone installed it just for a test.

  • What is ionCube and what is it used for?

Many clients ask us almost daily these questions: What is ionCube? Why do I need it to use your modules? Which version? Is it free? and many other related questions. At the link https://opencart.tips/why-we-use-ioncube-and-what-it-does we explain all the issues in the most understandable way possible.

  • Are module/plugin updates paid?

Updates for add-ons, depending on the system, are paid or free. Usually, they are free within the version for which they were released. For example: A product was released for OpenCart 2, so within version 2.x it is free, but it does not cover versions 3.x+ or 4.x+. Access to files is for one year from the date of purchase. You can download the latest versions and updates in your account in our store.

  • Is the module/license perpetual?

Yes. The license for components, modules, and plugins is perpetual. You do not have to pay for it every few years.

  • Can I resell the license?

Of course. The license can be resold to another client. A free license transfer is available during the one-year support period and only once. After this period, it is still possible, but the service is paid. Generally, the license is assigned to the domain, so if the client takes over the domain, there is no need to change the license.

  • How long does it take to build an online store?

Preparing an online store in our company takes from 4 to 14 days. The client receives a turnkey online store.
The client's only task (unless they commission it to us) is to fill the offer with categories and products. We provide comprehensive technical support, training, and store preparation.
It is worth noting that the graphics are always prepared for the client. We do not use ready-made templates. Thanks to this, the client has an individual store design, not one of a thousand identical ones.

  • How long does it take to build a website?

Preparing a website for a client usually takes up to 7 days. It all depends on whether the client has prepared materials for their new site.
If they want to replace their old site with a new one, 7 days is enough for us to prepare such a site.

  • What is the difference between a website and an online store?

Although both are visible on the internet and colloquially called a website, the differences between them are significant:

    Website
    - Mainly used for company promotion.
    - Not intended for sales, but only for presenting products or services online.
    - A classic website is less vulnerable to hacking and does not require regular programming maintenance; updates can be commissioned to us.

    Ecommerce
    - Used for both company promotion and selling products or services.
    - Contains functions that allow online payments.
    - Allows you to manage content yourself without the need for programming knowledge.
